The Sunpow OT-MD02 is one of the best metal detectors under $300, costing just $130. It includes a six-category target scale that assigns the detected object to one of the categories. Furthermore, the 3-tone audio, DISC, and all-metal modes let you discover exactly what you’re looking for. The manual ground balancing function, above all, is what makes the Sunpow OT-MD02 such a great purchase. This one exceeds expectations and defies the standard for entry-level detectors.

Detector is a nice light weight so you don't get arm fatigue using it. So far, I've found it to be very accurate. I was not sure what to expect because of the price but I'm happy to report it's high quality. If you're looking for an affordable metal detector to get started like I was, this is a great choice.

There are ten sensitivity levels to choose from, which should be more than enough to detect any precious metal on your list. It has the capability to identify metals 9 inches underground and enough filtering modifications to ensure that incorrect readings are never an issue. 

This is my first detector, I bought it 4-12-17, I did alot of research and comparing certain ones with this one,and read nothing but great reviews,I'm learning and with u-tube I don't see me having any problems,it was easy to put together and very light I'm so happy that I have it !

This is a great metal detector for the money! It replaced an old high end detector from 15 years ago. It works so much better its light and the battery is good for a whole day of detecting. I have found coins at 10-11 inches. Amazing for this price.

It comes with Garrett Clearsound headphones, which are one of the best models in the business’s range. They include inbuilt volume control and are good enough to be used as stereo headphones. Four AA batteries are provided in the package, and they are not generic. Furthermore, the last extra addition is a protective cover, which is utilized to keep rain and dust off the coil.

Just bought it today and got it delivered just in time before the sun to set. This is my first time using a metal detector, within an hour I found my lost wedding ring in my garden

Get this one! If you want more machine for less money,get this one. You can find the same thing on other machines but pay more than $200 for the same thing.

Nonetheless, it is well-balanced to compete with intermediate and expert metal detectors, and it has a lightweight feel to it, allowing you to go treasure hunting for hours. The battery lasts for almost 20 hours, so there’s no need to worry about running out of power anytime soon.

I bought this for my wife to use. A great detector for the money, I have used it alongside and checking with my AT Pro finding coins at 6 to 8 inches very light weight.
