I bought this for my 9 year old grandson for Christmas. It was on his list. It was perfect for his size. He is slight and short for his age. The first day his grandfather asked him to find a pipe that was on his acreage that had grass grown over it and could not find it. My grandson was so thrilled to find what he was looking for. Works very well.

I like that it has a volume control so you can use ear buds instead of detecting headphones. Can’t wait to hit the beaches this weekend.
