The ACE 200, like most other basic metal detectors, has a fixed ground balance. It features a numerical target ID that works in conjunction with the 200’s three audio tones. Oh, and the discrimination is fixed due to its pre-programmed patterns, which correspond to the three search modes: ZERO DISC, Jewelry, and Coins.

It does everything they say it will. Easy to use and fun. We have an identical Ace 200 we bought 3 or 4 years ago. We bought this one for our grandson. Very satisfied with both.

It uses a two-digit numeral system that is often seen in high-end products. The ability to identify a particular kind and size of metal item is known as sensitivity. Since this machine does not have a ground balance adjustment, this is a wonderful backup function.

I bought this to replace a more expensive detector that had stopped working.
To my surprise it actually performs as good or better than my high dollar one did.
I tried it out the day it was delivered and found 4 coins in my own back yard.

The DR.TEK MT-XR is excellent in terms of both build quality and capabilities. The first benefit that should be noted is its large size. Many of you may take this function for granted, but it’s critical since the loudness of many detectors may hurt your ears. The model is made of lightweight materials and comes with a waterproof coil, a built-in pinpointer, and a big touch screen that shows discrimination, target IDs, and other information.

Right after assembling it(which was super easy), I tested it with different metals and coins. And every time it would display the correct icon. Plus it's super easy to operate.

I got this for my grandchildren... they are finding all sorts of hidden treasure in my yard. They even found a small cannon ball. They are staying outside more these days and loving it!

Detector is a nice light weight so you don't get arm fatigue using it. So far, I've found it to be very accurate. I was not sure what to expect because of the price but I'm happy to report it's high quality. If you're looking for an affordable metal detector to get started like I was, this is a great choice.
