To begin, there’s this detector, which includes standard headphones. There is no screen on the control panel, just buttons, and indicators. What’s more, you’ve got the white and red letters, with the red ones indicating discrimination, non-motion/motion, ground balance, and shift; it’s very simple to use.

A really REALLY good rugged detector! Works well, uses standard AA batteries, and has just enough options and settings but not TO many like other gear. It costs a bit more, but it is worth it for a good brand name piece of gear!

It has a huge 11-inch DD coil capable of detecting large coins to depths of 12-15 inches.

Beautiful Machine easy to handle lightweight. Simple controls with excellent depth. Finding revolutionary war relics in a place I’d been over many time with other machines.

Very happy with this detector. Easy to use, like the ability to set up custom mode, with notches and and assignable tones for various targets. TID numbers and depth displays were accurate. Found silver dimes at 7" , silver quarters at 10" . Would definitely recommend.

The machine is simple to use and is ideal for all beginners. It is lightweight and adjustable in height, making it suitable for kids. You can easily detect coins down to 6 to 7 inches with the default sensitivity level. Well, the greater the sensitivity, the deeper you can detect, but it also makes you more susceptible (EMI Electro-Magnetic Interference.)

The Apex has all the features as advertised. The website guidance is superb. I took notes, because that is me, but the display is self-evident. It clearly saves time digging up bottle caps, etc. Big picnics have lots of lost items, but sloppy people also drop litter. This detector found money (identified on display), metal pipes,(identified on display). On and on. Glad I have it.

Very happy with this detector, my F75+ has taken a back seat. Also if depth is something you're looking for, this is definitely a deep machine.
