This pinpointer is one of the few on the market that is specifically designed for metal detectorists who scuba dive or snorkel for their findings. It’s waterproof to 200 feet, uses pulse induction (for better performance in saltwater), and the pinpointer probe can be easily replaced with a 5.5″ search coil, similar to a sniper coil for land hunting. What’s more, it comes with a  rechargeable lithium battery, customizable sensitivity, and a two-year warranty.

The Pro-Find 35 is extremely flexible, with five sensitivity levels, and it shows its value in ferreting out small targets. This device is waterproof enough for river and beach metal detecting, but not for underwater metal detecting. Its ability to distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous targets through auditory tone is one of its most interesting features.

I like the fact that I can adjust the sensitivity easily and it is accurate both on the side as well as the tip area. I wish that I could adjust the volume though but I've become tolerant of the loud beeping. It appears to be very durable buy I've only been using it for 2 months.

Garrett’s Pro Pointer II is an earlier version of pinpointer. With proportional target response, automated tuning, and vibration, audio, or both, the unit’s functioning is great. This is clearly a dealbreaker for any detectorist who spends a lot of time on the beach or detecting creeks and streams since it’s splashproof.

I never used a pin-pointer for the many years I did metal detecting and I had no idea what I was missing. This is a GREAT tool to help locate those pesky camoflaged (dirty) coins and bits of metal. Works great! I am very glad I bought it.

This device has a two-year limited warranty and highly customizable sensitivity. It also includes a missing pinpointer alarm. It also has an LED light and can be switched between three modes: audio, vibration, and audio + vibration. This pinpointer is also submersible to a depth of three feet, making it ideal for land hunters and occasional beach detectorists.

This pinpointer has surprising depth and is easy to use. I will probably never buy another brand again. I bought 3 Garrett at pinpointer and they last less than a year. This pinpointer is a must have.

It alerts the user through light and vibration since it is designed for diving. Its signals get faster and brighter as it gets closer to the target. It’s simple to switch out the 9V battery. It doesn’t need any tools, and the battery compartment can be accessed simply by removing the back handle knob. It can be utilized anywhere thanks to the pulse induction technology that powers it.

I have used the Vibra-Tector 740 both diving and snorkeling. Easy to turn on and use. I was very surprised at the amount of area I could cover with a little hand held detector. The detector picked up even very small metal objects.

I live in California and I took this with me to a job site in Oregon thought it was going to take me forever to find what I needed with this tool I expected to be on a job all week I found the problem with this tool within an hour I was on the job site not even a full day.

Although this pinpointer is an underdog, it has shown its worth to buyers. It’s very simple to use and can be used by kids as young as four years old. Its 12 kHz frequency, automated tuning, and both audio and vibration indications will appeal to adults. It features 360° detection and can focus on your object with precision using side-scanning. If your target is buried deeper than its detecting depth of 0-5 cm, you may have to do some pre-digging depending on your metal detector.

The search coil of my metal detector gets me within a foot of the target; this pinpointer saves a lot of time and effort and is very easy. The beeps get closer together as you near the target.

The F-Pulse is a great pinpointer with a lot of power. It has a remarkable detection depth, with pennies often discovered at 3.5”, and its ability to remove signals from ground minerals as a pulse induction pinpointer is a huge plus. To tune for ground phase match, just push the tip into the ground and retune. This also means you can go saltwater hunting, particularly since it’s waterproof up to 6 feet.

Best Pinpointer I have ever had.
I have purchased a 2nd one for a backup. It's capable of detecting a target almost 3 inches above ground and it is super durable.
It has seen land, beach swamps this past year and still working like it's brand new.

The AT stands for All Terrain, and it’s ideal for pinpointing on a variety of surfaces.  The retune button can help you retrieve objects quicker in the mineralized ground by shrinking the detecting area. The cool part about its lost alarm is that it would beep loudly for 60 minutes before turning off to save battery life.

I’ve had this Garrett Pro-Pinpointer coming up on two years now and have used it several hundred times and love it.
This thing has saved me so much time finding coins.

Well, this pinpointing metal detector is easy to use and light enough to take about with you while you go location hunting. It’s also water-resistant and comes with a submersible probe tip. It is safe at depths up to 10 meters since it is built of Marine Grade IP68 construction. What’s more, it even features a built-in speaker for audio sound and vibration alerts.

Pinpointer works great. I like the vibration and light feature, as I am hard of hearing. I have already found several pieces of jewelry, and coins. Thank you for a great product.
