I bought this for my 7 day hike and wanted to be dry and warm. If yo don't mind carrying the extra weight I would totally recommend it. I tend to be cold all the time so I decided that I did;t mind carrying around a larger sleeping bag as long as it meant being warm at the end of the day. Well I wan't disappointed. It was dry on the inside every night as well (considering the west coast weather). Something to note is that I carried it on the outside of my pack because of its massive size and due to the small size of my backpack as well, and it was still perfect to sleep in at the end of the day.
Now if there was one thing I could add to it it would be a compression bag. Because it did take me a while to put it back in it's bag in the morning.
It's great though, I strongly recommend!

Outstanding sleeping bag. I used it once for Winter camping and it is the real deal. I initially doubted the range of -18C/0F for this price but rest assured, it has proven its abilities. At night, the weather dropped to around -10C, and I was sleeping in a camping hammock (which has even less insulation that a tent). After 30 minutes in the sleeping bag, I had to get out and remove some layers of clothing as I started sweating. The only cons I can think of are the bulky size and the weight (I was doing a backpack camping trip). However, those cons are only a mere annoyance considering the price and the quality of the product. Would highly recommend for anyone who is not doing ultralight backpacking.

Really, really love this bag! I heard good things about the Backcountry bed and then saw the Frontcountry version and decided to give it a try. I’ve used it in Moab under the stars with no tent as well as in the back of my Jeep in the mountains. Either way, it’s comfy with amazing simple features that really make it versatile. Slipping my sleeping pad into the sleeve on the back of the bag keeps it from twisting when you rollover and being able to stick your feet out the bottom when it’s warm outside is really cool! I even like the color scheme of the bag! Really can’t say enough great things, including a really reasonable price. Love it.

I used this bag in my car in upper 20 degree temperatures. I'm a very cold sleeper, so I used the 5 degree setup with all layers. I stayed very warm; could have definitely gotten away with just the 20 degree layer. My feet tend to always be cold, but they stayed toasty. I have no clue how some people struggled with zipping on and off the layers; it's very straight forward. It's nice and wide, so I could move around easily. If I had any feedback, it would be to have the down layer to continue into the back. Very happy with the bag.

I cannot believe how roomy this bag is. It still did great keeping me warm at about 30 degrees F (20 degree bag), even with all the open space in the bag. It felt like sleeping in a blanket that somehow didn't let warmth out. The only negative is that it diesn't exactly pack down quite as tiny as a mummy bag, but it is still uper light.

This sleeping bag is the first one that fits my large hips without binding 'em, which means I can shift around in it all night to my heart's content. I sleep warm and so far in both rain and shine, I've only needed one layer + short sleeves to keep warm in this and my tent (sleeping pad r: 3.5). Can't wait to try it in some fall camping here next weekend - so far I love this thing!
