I love this calculator. I wish I had been using it all along. It does most calculations much faster than other calculators. It is RPN style which takes getting used to (but thats what makes it more efficient). I wish it had more short keys. One draw back is if you make an error it is hard to tell because you can only see 3 lines of calculations at any one time and it will erase previous actions. It’s not algebraic so you can’t see inputs as you would see them on a paper anyway. It is usable for the FE exam which is great.

Very simply, this product is far better and far cheaper than the equivalent TI product for the the Survey test to become a professional Civil Engineer in the state of california. Converting from Degrees minutes seconds is trivial on this product whereas it is cumbersome on TI. By using this product, you are essentially giving yourself time on the exam as you won't have to go through the tedium of TI's conversion. This is coming from someone who has used TI all his life. For 20 bucks it's a worth while investment.

To avoid misunderstanding and help you learn all you need to know, everything shows on the screen as it would in a textbook. It’s ideal for courses where even the finest scientific graphic calculator isn’t permitted since you get the power without the graphics.

This is a great buy if you are looking for one of these calculators. This is issue at the Aircraft Mechanic school that i attended to for two years. We used this calculator pretty much every day. I still have it in my bag to this day.

The TI Nspire CX CAS calculator is a wonderful innovation, with a price tag of $154.95. It is a great graphing calculator with one of the most elegant looks. It features a rechargeable battery that can last up to 2 weeks on a single charge under normal conditions. It features a screen resolution of 320 x 420 pixels and is fairly light. You can use it with confidence since it comes with a one-year warranty.

This calculator is a MUST have if you ever do any physics, advanced math, or engineering. I haven't found a calculation it can't do. Complete the square, factor, solve, quadratic equation, indefinite and definite integrals, double and single derivatives, etc... Seriously, everything else just wastes your time. Be sure to check with your teacher however, if you're taking Calc I or II they might not let you have it in tests coz it's too smart !

Don’t worry; it’ll work on most exams, including the ACT, SAT, and AP. It runs on batteries, which you can simply replace as necessary.

compared to the TI-30XIIS, this calculator has buttons that click, whereas the other has soft buttons. I bought both for UIL testing because the TI calculator cannot be read from an angle, and I’m used to not holding the device up to my face while testing. the casio calculator also has a more standard font which i prefer. It’s also lightweight and has a cute design.
