The Casio FX-991EX is the new standard in the classroom. It has some of the most user-friendly features to make learning fun. It’s a high-performance scientific calculator that raises the standard when it comes to completing difficult arithmetic problems quickly. This calculator comes with a large number of complex computations. It includes a spreadsheet function, which is essential in statistics.
... It's construction is pretty basic and I would not expect better for the price range. I own lots of calculators including the HP Prime and the Casio fx-CG50 but this is my go-to daily calculator. Oh, and this model is also good for the FE exam and I'm sure it's the best calculator for this exam by far. It does statistics, vectors, spreadsheets...amazing. Just buy it, trust your fellow engineer here.

The best calculator for the functions and price. It has all of the functions needed for most math and science classes. I love the fraction to decimal function and storing function. The display is very simple and clean, you can apply complex/long equations easily like how you would write it on paper. As a chemistry major, this calculator makes conversions extremely easy to calculate. I have lost this calculator 3 times (mostly likely stolen each time) and tried other calculators but none can compare. I will always repurchase this product.

High-Quality Construction
Following that comes an excellent calculator with high-quality construction. It features a glossy black plastic front panel with a beautiful color-coded description of each button’s additional purposes. It also includes a real vinyl case, which is a great addition. But, more significantly, it offers a level of capability that none of the other products can equal. Simply said, there are so many distinct functions accessible that describing them all is pointless.
Very high quality calculator that truly uses RPN which I learned 50 years ago and still use daily. Give it a try.
