The Casio FX-260 Scientific Calculator is an entry-level calculator with a reasonable price. It’s compact, light, and simple to carry. Up to 10 digits and two exponents are shown on the big one-line display. It has 144 functions, including calculations, logarithms, exponents, and trig functions. Using the clear last entry and clear all functions, you can easily remove mistakes. When you’re not using the calculator, slip on the protective cover to protect the screen and buttons.

This is a very powerful calculator. I went through Mechanical Engineering School using this calculator for everything that didn't require calculus. Small, Cheap and very powerful. I've got 5 or 6 of these around the house and in the shop. Great tool. They take a beating and being splattered with oil no problem. Lasts forever.

The two-line display simultaneously displays both the entry and the computed results. The calculator can manage both fractions and mixed numbers, so you can input fractions exactly as they appear in the textbook without having to convert them. Have you made a mistake? To recalculate the result, use the arrow keys to navigate through the original equation. Instead, you can examine previous entries using the entry line scrolling function to search for trends among responses or just obtain solutions to previous calculations.

The TI Nspire CX CAS calculator is a great innovation at this pricing. It is a great calculator with one of the most elegant designs. It features a rechargeable battery that can last up to 2 weeks on a single charge under typical conditions. On the backlit display, this calculator works as an overlay, color-coding equations, points, objects, and lines. It features a screen resolution of 320 x 420 pixels and is relatively light too.

This calculator is a MUST have if you ever do any physics, advanced math, or engineering. I haven't found a calculation it can't do. Complete the square, factor, solve, quadratic equation, indefinite and definite integrals, double and single derivatives, etc... Seriously, everything else just wastes your time. Be sure to check with your teacher however, if you're taking Calc I or II they might not let you have it in tests coz it's too smart !

This calculator is reasonably priced and offers a number of useful features. It features a multi-view display that allows it to show several calculations at once. Like other scientific calculators, it offers a textbook view. As a result, it’s appropriate for most educational contexts and FE/PE engineering exams. The TI-36X Pro can solve equations with up to three variables without the need of matrix functions, as well as quadratic equations.

This is a useful calculator. I use a TI83 side-by-side with this device because it is so much easier to use when computing fractions, and multiple grouped equations. You can even insert a 'division line' to divide numbers, just as one might write them out on paper. Good buy for the cost.

If you’re simply building a basis for future courses, you’ll appreciate that it can handle issues with one or two variables, so you didn’t go looking for a more complex model.

This is a perfectly good low end calculator. It has all the functions one needs to get through high school and probably well into college. It does trig, log and so on. It has a two line LCD, lots of buttons and everything else one might expect. Yes, you can pay more and get something fancier, but I've been quite satisfied.

The Casio FX-300ES Plus is powerful and versatile without putting a hole in your wallet. There are 250 math functions and computations in this model. It has been authorized to take NCEES examinations and is intended to assist you in your studies.

Stunning colour! I had the baby pink colour to this FOR YEARSSSSS (like 15 years) only this year it died completely, so I purchased this to replace it. I always found this model to be the best with the fraction features. So far so good!

It contains scientific functions such as trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, as well as their inverses, squaring and square roots, common and natural logarithms and their roots, as well as their inverses, radian to degree conversions, arbitrary powers and their roots, and so on.

These are great calculator. They have been around for a long time and have a great design. I am an engineer that uses a calculator everyday. The buttons are very comfortable.
