It is so much easier to put a half sheet in the washer than to measure out the liquid and have to tilt the huge bottle to get anything out. I like that it's unscented, too. It doesn't take up much space.

There are a variety of detergent strips available, but the majority of them have not yet been assessed by organizations such as the Environmental Working Group. We picked Lazy Coconuts Eco-Friendly Detergent Strips which received a C rating from the Environmental Working Group, since they include healthier chemicals. Those substances are non-irritating to the skin and soothing for delicate skin. These vegan coconut strips are also free of parabens, bleach, chlorine, and colors and come in a variety of scents. Those who must go to the laundromat or communal washing room will find them particularly useful, as would those who are traveling or camping. Compared to many similar brands, they’re a tad more affordable.

I have an older home, and I have not had to clean the drain which other sudsy products clog. I have shared Lazy Coconuts with four other people, of whom like how well its cleans.

The biodegradable and hypoallergenic formulas from Tru Earth are ideal. They’re vegan, gluten-free, and haven’t been put through any animal testing. The strips are also free of parabens, phosphates, bleach, colors, and other 1,4-dioxane-related chemicals (like SLES). The scented variants are manufactured using fragrance, which is an artificial formulation, but there is also an unscented version. Unless you select a yearly pack, which arrives in a cardboard box, everything comes in biodegradable envelopes.

I watched a funny and cool ad for this product (laundry detergent strips) on Instagram and I was really suspect that it was a rip off, but when I got my package in the mail and I started doing laundry, I was shocked! And not to mention the wool dryer balls! They are amazing! (Plus, I am from NZ and was proud to have wool from my birth place, I highly suggest adding those to your list as well!). [...]
