I live in a tiny home and try to be as eco-friendly and zero waste as possible, someone recommended these to me. I absolutely love them! I have a small RV/dorm room washer and drier that is a plastic dual unit for small loads, I fill it up about a quarter of the way then rip one strip into small pieces and drop them in, to help them dissolve I just swish the water around with my hand then drop my clothes in. It is also such a space saver! If you are on the fence do it!

Perhaps some of you never come across this type of detergent. These are dried berries that, when agitated in water, release saponin, a natural cleansing agent that also acts as a fabric softener. You can imagine how wonderful it would be to wash all of your clothes. To use, simply place 4-5 soap nuts in the provided cloth bag and throw them in the washer! Oh, and the berries can be reused up to 10 times, so this is a cost-effective detergent, isn’t it?

Like others, I was somewhat skeptical about using these…..BUT…..they have been great! They clean well and are eco friendly! Definitely buying again!

This is good detergent. I usually use soap nuts but I wanted "real" detergent to wash dirtier laundry and dish rags. This is a good size and price. I love that it comes in a reusable, zero waste jar. Most unscented detergents have a chemical smell. However, this seems to be truly unscented. I like the simple and safe ingredients.
