Works perfectly for my purpose. My cat takes half of an already small pill, so regular pill shooters would drop the pill. Since this is smaller and has the rubber end that you can put on it, it holds the pill and is easier to get farther down her throat before I plunge the pill.

Cheap easy way to help my cat take his necessary pills. Tried using my hands to feed my cat with a small mouth but razor sharp teeth tiny little pills....not a good idea. Lol. This is a much better option for both your hands and the animal. My cat seems to take to the pill gun much better then me shoving my finger with the pill in its mouth. Plus you can get place the pill further back in the animals throat to ensure they eat it.
