Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Does rice taste better in a rice cooker?
There is an influence, but it is insignificant. You should be confident that the results will be tasty if the cooking technique is followed correctly. The quality of the rice, the amount of water required, and the length of the cooking process are the primary considerations in determining whether the rice will taste flavorful or not.
Is a rice cooker worth it?
Eating rice is an Asian tradition that is not widely practiced in the United States. However, there are no special rules on who may or may not consume rice. And now for the answer to that question. If you don’t like cooking rice, a microwave will suffice. However, if you like eating rice, feel free to indulge. It is worthwhile to buy.
Why are Japanese rice cookers so expensive?
Rice is one of the most valued traditions of the Far East. As a result, the technique of processing rice should not be underestimated. In fact, becoming a sushi specialist necessitates years of training in order to make rice suitable for sushi dough. So, based on the illustration, rice cookers from Japan are costly because these products are truly designed for cultural reasons and to maintain the quality of the dishes on par with conventional cooking methods.
What is the disadvantage of rice cooker?
The primary disadvantage of using a rice cooker is the unequal distribution of heat, which causes the bottom to dry out and, in the worst-case scenario, burn after hours. However, by selecting the proper inner coating, this can be avoided.

We have a Japanese well know brand rice cooker for some times now. The inner pot started peeling and got into the cooked rice. I've heard a lot of good things about Cuckoo and decided to try since it was on sale. The result.. oh my!! The rice came out so delicious! Multifunction as well. You will not regret!!

I have been using this cooker for several times now and the rice is cooked perfectly, tastes good, much better than the Cuisinart one I had before. Nice design. The only cons is that the inner pot capacity is smaller than it supposes to . I usually cook 3-4 cups of uncool Jasmine rice and is a little bit less than 6 cups cooked rice (Under the 6-cups max mark inside the pot. I am pretty sure it can't be 12 cups cooked rice. Overall, I like this rice cooker very much. No doubt with products made in Japan.

Japanese rice cooks perfectly in this rice cooker and does not stick . The pot is made from a non stick material. I am also using this to slow cock , instead of dragging out my old crock pot ! You can make everything in this cooker without owning 5 different appliances ! It's a good idea to make stew , soup or chili in this appliance instead of cooking on the stove during the summer . Keeps the heat down in the kitchen ! I love it & I have a small kitchen so this is going to take the place of my crock pot , rice cooker , my steamer and a pot on the stove !
