Making rice is very easy with the Cuisinart rice cooker. I just add the recommended measuring cup of brown rice and 1 and 3/4 cups water, push the switch and come back in about a half hour to perfectly cooked rice. The cooker keeps it warm until the unit is unplugged.

The texture of the rice is fantastic, like the rice I tasted in Korea, high end restaurant. It also cooks super fast. The rice cooker is beautiful looking, looks more like a cool gadget than a traditional rice cooker. The color LED screen is super cool. Definitely not a boring rice cooker. Worth my investment. The only down side is it lacks the English setting.

Affordable price, mini size, and easy to uphold. The Black + Decker RC506 cooker is suitable for those of you who live alone, or only have 2 small mouths to feed. The time it takes to cook the rice ranges from 20 to 30 minutes. Also, it includes a measuring cup and spoon.

This is a great little rice cooker for making small portions. My first batch of rice came out too wet and the steam vent overflowed so on my second batch I added less water than recommended and the rice came out perfect.

Ok I can’t believe I’m compelled to write this review, but I’m obsessed with this rice cooker. It cooks SO much more than just rice. We use it to make oatmeal in the morning, I make a ridiculously perfect and easy frittata in it while doing literally anything else, and I threw half my fridge and pantry in it and made a banging risotto casserole random deliciousness. Gonna try making bone broth in it soon.
