What can I do to improve the quality of my Zoom microphone?
– Make use of a high-quality audio microphone.
– Test and optimize your studio microphone.
– Stamp out the echo.
– It would be preferable if you did not stand too near to the microphone.
– Turn off sound processing if it’s bothering you.

Why do I need a microphone?
Some people want the flexibility of using a computer recording application on their own computer, but they also want to be able to record conversations quietly without being discovered. Others choose an external microphone that can be used with a number of recording applications in order to maximize their chances of capturing a sound recording. Others want their voice to be clearly heard even if they are standing far away from a room’s or studio’s speakers.
Which is better: XLR or USB microphones?
– USB mics are mostly plug-and-play, requiring relatively little knowledge of sound. You connect it to your laptop, press the record button in the software, and you’re ready to begin. They are also affordable.
– For more advanced tasks, you’ll want to XLR microphones. This allows you to use numerous microphones simultaneously while maintaining tactile control over sound levels. However, using an XLR microphone involves the purchase of additional equipment.
What are the types of mics?
– Condenser microphones are the most common kind of microphone used for acoustic or acoustic-electric instruments. They are also the most sensitive and more affordable alternative.
– Diaphrasing is an audio engineering term that refers to the undesired distortions heard in condenser recordings.

Samson
SAGOMIC Go Mic
Undetectable footprint
The Samson Go Mic is worthy of a spot in your travel bag. It supports cardioid and omnidirectional recording patterns and has a small, practically undetectable footprint. Furthermore, the diecast, zinc-molded base has a shock-absorbent cushion to reduce vibrations and functions as a stand or clip for a tablet or laptop screen. This on-the-go microphone is one of the finest microphones for Youtube since it can record at a resolution of 16-bit/44.1kHz for outstanding audio quality.
this little bugger has GREAT sound for the size and price. I use it on my youtube channel "timmerz reviews". If you care to hear it. look it up.

With a classic recording equipment design that looks excellent on your desktop and on camera, you can record or broadcast in style. The USB microphone has a cardioid pattern for recording and broadcasting, as well as an omnidirectional pattern that puts you “in the room” for conference calls on Zoom, Skype, and other services. Maintains professional audio quality while keeping Snowball clean and distortion-free on louder voices and instruments for anything from voiceovers to podcasts to singing.

Rode
SmartLav+
Excellent compact mic
Rode understands how to create excellent, user-friendly microphones. Since it weighs just six grams, carrying it about needs no additional effort, and registering the SmartLav+ on Rode’s website entitles you to a 12-month guarantee. Overall, this is an excellent compact microphone for interviews and other situations when you want the microphone to be as unobtrusive as possible while yet collecting quality audio. If you have an iOS device, there is even a Rode Rec app available in the App Store.
I usually don't leave product reviews but I was so thoroughly impressed with this mic and it's level of audio quality. I've been doing YouTube videos for some time now and haven't been able to find my go-to mic, until now. Because this, lady's and gent's, is about as good as it can get!

Blue Microphones
Yeti USB Mic
Plethora of functions
It’s no wonder that the Blue Yeti is a YouTubers’ favorite. It has excellent sound quality and a plethora of functions for the price. There are three condenser mic capsules, enabling you to choose between four distinct pickup patterns. Most people will probably just require the cardioid pattern for voiceovers, but the option to use it as a conference or interview mic makes it well worth the money. It also has a mute button, gain control, a headphone connector (with volume control), and a good stand.
I love the design, the sound quality was amazing, the different built in modes makes it a great choice for everyone. Used it for gaming, for a youtube video that I'm posting tomorrow (sent a highlight of the video) . Amazing microphone all around.

Blue Microphones
Yeti X
The most flexible pick
The Blue Yeti X has four capsules, one more than the original Blue Yeti mic. Depending on your demands, you may choose between cardioid, omni, stereo, and bi-directional recording patterns. The variety of polar patterns is only one of the many characteristics that make this one of the most flexible USB microphones available. It records 24-bit/48kHz audio, giving you greater options in post-processing than the original, which records 16-bit/48kHz audio.
This mic is awesome. I use it for YouTube videos and conference calls. Sounds amazing especially compared to some cheaper ones I've used. Def worth the money and it looks great too

Audio Technica
AT2035
Reduce very low noises
We like that the Audio-Technica AT2035 has a shock mount. You’ll need a boom arm to install it, but your audio quality will increase significantly and you won’t have to buy the mount separately. The microphone also contains an 80Hz high-pass filter, which helps to reduce very low noises such as computer fans, heaters, and other ambient noise. Because this is a condenser microphone, you’ll need to provide phantom power, but you shouldn’t need a lot of amplification.
I use this with a Mackie Onyx Artist and it's able to pickup my natural bass voice and my wife's higher pitch. Great mic and a popular choice of YouTube and Twitch content creators. Both At2035 and Mackie are quality products and have never let me down using them several times every week.

Rode
NT-USB
Plug-and-play operation
The Rode NT-USB is a studio cardioid condenser microphone with a USB connection that allows for simple plug-and-play operation. The provided tripod does a good job at reducing noise, but it can always be enhanced by utilizing an extra shock mount. The sound quality is fantastic, and this is undoubtedly one of the finest YouTube microphones under $200. There includes a headphone jack with volume control and a mix control dial for blending computer sounds with your speech.
Great sounding and easy to use. It's a rode so you cant go wrong with Rode. There's a reason so many people choose Rode products. Great overall value product. I use it for voiceovers on my youtube videos.

Rode
Procaster
With an internal pop filter
The Rode Procaster really outperforms its price tag. It has an internal pop filter to eliminate p-pops as well as an internal shock mount to reduce vibrations and handling noise. To better isolate the mic, you can purchase the Rode PSM1 shock mount. The shock mount is highly recommended since the provided mount is fairly fragile and made of plastic, and it will be much simpler to set the Procaster into the proper position.
As always, Rode hit a home run with the Podcaster! Love the tonality, and the look! Great mic for podcasting, live-streaming, and YouTube!

Shure
MV7
Enhance the frequency response
The Shure MV7 reproduces voices quite well, and it includes both a USB and an XLR output that may be utilized concurrently. It offers numerous recording options to enhance the frequency response, and although it only has a cardioid polar pattern, this is usually what you’d use for voice recordings anyway. In addition to the USB and XLR outputs, the mic offers a headphone jack for live monitoring.
I'm a new YouTuber and this microphone has handle my voiceovers flawlessly. It really sounds good. I'm very impressed with the quality so far and so are my listeners. Great product from a great company! You have to check this thing out! Solid construction and features!
