Price was great, the construction of the laser is awesome. Has a sturdy metal frame and was very easy to assemble. Cuts through 5mm birch ply without any problems. The software is a little plain however it’s very easy to create a design in lightburn and import it to the laserbox program. Hopefully soon xtool will be able to run right off of lightburn, I heard they are working on that and should be up and running very soon. All in all, great product!

The Ortur Laser Engraver 2 is very simple to set up; even a beginner designer can get the hang of it after a few practice runs. The packet is made up of numerous pre-assembled components that take five minutes to put together. The Ortur Laser Master 2 features a simple design, with the laser module mounted on a square-shaped frame made of extruded tubing and welded together. It also includes basic mechanical hardware and a control board, as well as an interactive interface with a power socket, USB connector, and on/off switches.

I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. I did not expect the unit to cut as well as it does. I can cut wood and acrylic. If you use black, cast (not extruded) acrylic, it is simple to cut 1/8" sheet. I used 100% power, 100mm/min, and 3 passes. The edges look good! Still trying out the laser engraving. I had a question for support while the unit was being shipped and they answered it within 12 hours on a weekend! I have had nothing but good experiences with these guys and their machine. Great starter unit.

He used Light Burn and loves it. He started with the free month and bought the year subscription when it ran out. He used the engraver to make wooden Christmas ornaments and engrave cutting boards for Christmas presents. They were a big hit with family and friends.

It can cut and engrave on twenty-two different materials, from cardboard to wood to acrylic sheets. You can engrave text with the Makeblock x Tool 1, but you can also carve graphics and scenery with it. When engraving on higher materials, it comes with adjustable legs that allow you to change the height of the laser head. Additionally, the rotating device may be used to cut cylindrical objects like as balls or glasses. Because it combines precision, versatility, and safety, the Makeblock xTool D1 laser engraver is ideal for beginners.

This engraver is very easy to use. The software does its job, import from Illustrator! All of my designs are made in Illustrator and imported as a png. Other formats work fine too but this has given me the best expected results. You can set up each part of the project to different settings before sending it all to the laser. It has a large work area and the frame feels very secure. If you are careful when putting this together it all aligns perfectly. I have cut and etched a number of materials for projects and it has given me repeatable and consistent results. I am very happy with this machine and find it easy to recommend.

Neje Master 2 is ideal for engraving and cutting wood, leather, paper, cotton, felt, and other materials. This engraving tool is also incredibly accurate, providing the greatest results when carving complicated patterns. Aside from that, the Neje Master 2 is a wonderful alternative for novices since it comes essentially pre-assembled, eliminating the need to go through extensive instructions to figure out which component to connect next. The Neje Master 2 comes with software, although it may also be used with other programs.

I ordered this machine after researching and figured I'd try this one to fill a corporate order of cutting boards as I needed to engrave a logo on each board. I am very happy with this machine. I watched the set-up video once and was able to put it together out of the box and start engraving in literally 15 minutes. NEJE software is very basic and easy to understand. If you are wanting to get into smaller gigs this product is a solid option. I have no experience with lasers or engraving and it was so easy to get going. The machine itself is good quality and solid. Honestly can't believe a product exists like this for $200. I may opt for the more powerful laser and look into other software programs but I am 100% happy with this purchase.

I read some good reviews about this unit, but I'm usually a skeptic. This thing is great! It assembled like a dream, all the parts were there and the instructions were good. The only part of assembly that was difficult was attaching the left side frame member to the already mostly assembled machine. But with patience, it came together. Anyway, I was burning with the laser within 2 hours of delivery. Love the smell of laser burning wood. I'm anxious about the router though, because I'll need more software to use it properly.

Furthermore, instead of replacing the whole machine, you can simply swap the laser modules for other versions to enhance the laser strength as you progress with laser engraving.

I have had this for a few weeks now and I have had really good luck with the different projects that I have thrown at it. It took an hour or so to get put together and I am using Lightburn for the control software. After only a little learning curve and experimenting got it nailed down. I would highly recommend ordering or 3d printing some cable chain for the cabling to clean things up but other than that works good for me. I have cut various soft materials and some thin plywood with no problem and am working on engraving photos now.

The Comgrow ROBO CNC 5W laser engraver uses an ultra-fine laser to engrave difficult materials like steel and ceramics. The Comgrow ROBO CNC 5W does not need a wired connection to function – it can be used in offline mode as well. It comes pre-assembled; all you have to do is tighten a few screws, and the machine is ready to use. Furthermore, data may be transferred from the CNC router to an SD card without the need of a computer!

This router is really built well. All metal frame with 12mm linear rods. It has worked well so far, but I do plan to get a better spindle in the future for cutting aluminum. My SD card did not have any useful files, so if you buy one plan to go to Comgrow's website and Download the test file. Also Aurora Tech on YouTube did a review which led to me buying this machine. Check out her video it is spot on about this machine. Not disappointed!!!

The machine arrived well packaged. Assembly was easy and all tools were provided by seller. A link address was provided to download the free app to operate the machine. The software was fairly intuitive, but there was a slight learning curve before becoming comfortable in use. I would recommend this seller to others.
