The seat pocket is meant to hold the roper in place and give more balance, giving the roper the upper hand.

The horn is 3″ H x 1-3/4″ W, and the gullet measures 5-1/4″ W x 6-3/4″ H. It has the ability to swell to a diameter of 10″. The weight is around 23 pounds. It comes with a 5-year warranty.

Bought this saddle this spring and don't regret it for one second. What a well built and comfortable saddle to ride. Been to a few team roping's this spring and summer and have had nothing but great compliments about the looks of this saddle.

This is a gorgeous vintage synthetic horse saddle in the traditional style. The saddle weighs only 17 pounds, making it an excellent choice for any rider looking for a comfortable, lightweight saddle for their horse. Because the saddle is water-resistant, cleaning it is a pleasure; all you have to do is wipe it off with a wet towel. The saddle is reinforced with a nylon bind around the corners, which makes it rip-resistant. There are matching headstall, breast collar, reins, and pad included with the purchase of this item. Cinches are not included in the price.

For the money I spent there’s no way I was expecting this saddle to be any good just bought it to start a young horse off with a lil saddle weight on his back and that’s about it.... but IBDamned I love this lil cheap saddle[...]

This saddle looks like a traditional one, but it can be used for many different types of English riding without costing a lot of money. Hidden knee rolls, soft flaps, and a medium-deep padded seat help the rider get a secure and stable seat. This saddle is great for riders who want to work on their equitation, and with the padded panels, it’s also good for the horse. The high cantle and long flaps make this saddle good for flatwork, but it also has a lower pommel and flaps that are a little forward for riders who want to jump. A lot of D-Rings are great for attaching saddle bags and straps to your bike while you’re out on the trail.

The best saddle ever with the best stirrups that hold my weight! The leather is the best quality ever and the color is fab looking! It is very comfy to sit in. I recommend it for jumpers! :)
