With this correction pad system, the rider is closer to the horse and has more stability while utilizing this correction system. The top is diamond quilted with a brushed underside (black and white-all other colors are quilted on both sides). The weight is around two pounds. To preserve it how it should be, you must use caution while washing it. Take out the memory foam shims. Wash with cold water and mild detergent in a front loader, top loader without an agitator, or by hand in cold water and mild detergent Only use non-chlorine bleach on the white pads if necessary. Use a gentle/mild cycle.

I have this under an Aussie stock saddle that is modified for horse archery use. I primarily ride a rented Icelandic, but having this pad gives me the flexibility to transfer my saddle to other horses when I need to. After several months of use it is still in excellent condition. A good product.
