Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Have you known these?
What are the types of watch movements?
There are countless types of watch movements. However, we will only explain the three most common ones, namely Quartz, mechanical, and automatic. Quartz is the most commonly used. This type is driven by a battery which causes the second hand to move in individual ticks. Mechanical movements rely on manual winding to allow the second hand to move in a smooth sweeping motion. Meanwhile, the automatic movement runs with the help of kinetic energy from the wearer’s wrist.
How do I check the watch's resistance to water?
You can check it in the product description. According to watchtime.com, a water-resistance level of 30 meters means the watch can withstand splashes of water. A level of 50 meters means that it can be worn for swimming in shallow depths. A level of 100 meters means it can be worn snorkeling and a level of 200 meters or more means it can be worn scuba diving.
What is the difference between analog and digital watch?
The basic difference between analog and digital watches is in the method of display. An analog watch shows the time with the moving hour, minute, and second hands on the dial. Whereas, a digital watch comes with digits on the display that change over time. Today, there’s also an Analog Digital watch which includes both an analog display and a digital display on the dial.
What to know before buying a watch?
First of all, to narrow down your choices, decide your budget so you don’t spend time choosing products you can’t afford. After that, take a look at the material so your watch matches the appearance you wish and is durable. Design is legit crucial for you to adjust with personality and occasion. Lastly is the function, whether you need a regular clock or one with a date and compass, and so on.

Very good overall work watch. Armitron brand/quality. Very good price. Haven't dived with it yet, but nice face layout, lots of extras on top of telling time. Easy to read night illumination, Good quality feel band and secure buckle. I would highly recommend this product.

Dakota Watch
Mini Clip Microlight Watch
Clip and go
If you don’t want to risk your watch at work, you can consider this Dakota Watch Company Mini Clip Microlight Watch. With the carabiner closure, you can attach it to your pack or belt loop and there’s nothing else to worry about. The clip watch is equipped with an ultra-bright LED that helps you watch your step at night.
This is a very solid watch. Due to it being worn on your belt loop it has to take a lot of abuse if you are doing physical work. My last one is now my "I wear it doing construction" watch.

Wear it to the construction site everyday. Finally a watch I can see! Wasn't sure about the large size but after a few days I don't notice it. Has a lot of nice features like multiple audible and or vibrating alarms and love the indigo light. Has stop watch with split times and timer function. Went in the pool with it and no problems. Nice watch for the money!

Suunto
Core All Black Military Watch
Supports your exploration
This watch is designed for the outdoorsman who needs more than a timepiece. Suunto Core comes with various features to support your exploration: altimeter, barometer, and a compass to point the way. Moreover, this device helps you monitor the weather and sun, you will know when storm clouds are approaching.
I am so glad that I took the plunge. I've been mulling over this purchase for years - and I finally hit F***k It. This thing has been dragged down white water rapids with me, survived daily wear on a construction worker's wrist, rolled around in the dunes, and it's had the distinctive induction to the mile high club. I'm sure that I will replace it when I finally destroy the dang thing, but I'm not quite sure that will be any time soon.

Citizen
AT0200-05E
Never need a battery
This model offers the function of 1 second chronograph measures up to 60 minutes as well as 12/24 hour time and date. Within its 39mm stainless steel case you’ll find a black dial, luminous hands, and Arabic numerals. Its Eco-Drive technology makes it rely on light for power instead of a battery, making it a killer outdoor watch.
I bought this watch to wear to work; I regularly visit construction sites and didn't want something too nice, in case it gets damaged. It still looks good enough to wear as a casual watch outside of work. The numbers are easy to read, and the luminous hand and hour markers glow brightly when "charged." The canvas band looks good, the leather backing is comfortable, and the metal eyelets will prevent tears/rips.

Astonishing light weight and slim profile provide comfort and ease of wear. In my research no other watch comes close to the value and features offered by this watch. Thank you GPW!

It features multiple displays to display a compass, a barometer, an altimeter, a thermometer, a sunrise/sunset function, a stopwatch, an alarm, and a calendar function. I really like this watch. The buttons are big enough for my large fingers. I can read the face screen. I work construction and I am very rough in watches. So far this watch is holding up very well. Just a heads up. I would purchase screen protectors for the watch face. I am glad I have the protectors. I have almost worn out the first one.
