Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Things you have to know about gratitude journals
What is a gratitude journal?
Gratitude journaling is the activity of recording and reflecting on things that you are grateful for every day. A gratitude journal is a tool to accommodate these habits. With a gratitude journal, you will find it easier to write down how you feel which is usually complemented by a blank page, lined page, and questions that provoke reflection.
What are the tips for keeping a gratitude journal?
First, enjoy the little things. You don’t need to write extraordinary things to be grateful. Mention specific people and places to make you more totality and honest in expressing your feelings. After that, make it a habit. You will feel a big change in your life afterwards.
Why should I use a gratitude journal instead of a regular journal?
There is nothing wrong with a regular journal. It’s just that, journaling newcomers may not know how to start writing, how long, and what to write. These journals provide prompts to guide them through the process. Moreover, according to Samantha Boardman, founder of Positive Prescription, sometimes a blank page can be really intimidating. So, a journal that focuses on gratitude will be very helpful.
What should I do when I feel stuck and run out of ideas for writing?
You can look for inspiration from anywhere to keep your journaling intriguing. You can also use questions like: How are you today? How will today’s weather affect your mood? What made you smile today? etc. Remember, in this journal, even the most trivial things matter.

Grateful Together: A Gratitude Journal for Kids and Their Parents
Strengthen your bonding
This Grateful Together by Vicky Perreault is a journal specially designed for parents and children who often don’t know how to communicate feelings. This journal helps both of you to build gratitude with a huge range of activities and prompts that don’t repeat, such as: Look around the room. Name 3 things you’re grateful for! With space to draw and create, you can express yourself freely and somehow strengthen your bonding.
We are loving this journal. My daughter cannot write on her own yet but she happily tells me her thoughts to write down & there’s often room for her to draw a picture too. She just turned 5. I’m considering gifting this to a few friends as well. My husband told me tonight that he actually thinks it has really helped bedtime to go smoother. Which we can use all the help we can get at that touchy time of day. Would definitely recommend!

Gratitude: A Day and Night Reflection Journal
Day and night reflection
The contemporary design of the journal was loved by many. It comes in a soothing color that lightens the mood slowly. This day and night reflection journal lets you start your day with positive affirmations and end with how you felt throughout the day. The acid-free pages made from archival paper take both pen and pencil nicely.
I started my miracle morning practice and though I have tons of journals, I wanted to develop a habit of a gratitude journal. I happened upon this diamond while looking for one. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a morning and evening reflection. Durable, beautiful pages, and just like the pictures shown. I love everything about this. So glad I purchased.

Calling what happened during the last 24 hours in one sentence every day makes you totally selective in choosing the moments that matter most. This daily ritual will be contained in The Happiness Project One-Sentence Journal with five years’ worth of gratitude reflection and inspirational quotes. Yes, it serves as a time capsule of the next five years of your life.
You can not beat this quality for this price. I feel like I have seen this book in stores for over $20! The price point was wonderful, especially for a book I can use over 5 years and that is a hardcover book with a bookmark built in. The print, colors, and quality of each page is beautiful! I will more than likely get this book every 5 years! I do hope they create more of this book in different style choices for future buys.

Start With Gratitude
Start and end your day positively
This daily gratitude journal will improve your happiness and mental health by making you reflect before starting activities and at the end of the day. This deceptively simple yet effective journal provides different daily prompts to give you variety and keep it fun. Consisting of 100 pages each only takes about two to ten minutes on each day’s questions.
As a gift for my boyfriend this was exactly what I was looking for. I started last year writing down 1 to 2 things that I am grateful for everyday and it has changed my outlook on a lot of things. I thought that since it has made such a positive change in my life that it might do the same for him. It is also a good size and has plenty of space to write a few things and then things you'd want to repeat tomorrow.

The One-Minute Gratitude Journal
Extremely time-efficient
The One-Minute Gratitude Journal is a smart choice if you’re constantly skipping journaling citing insufficient time. Two columns for writing your gratitude, with the day and date and a short quote on each sheet, make it practical, and don’t take much time for reflection. You can grab it while waiting for your food order to be ready, while in the driver’s seat, or anytime. Extremely time-efficient.
Great journal. The passages are short so it is encouraging and easy to make daily or frequent gratitude entries. I keep right in my nightstand. I gave a few out as Christmas gifts and then got one for myself to stay grounded while trying to get pregnant. (It came in handy during pregnancy too!) Can't beat the price. I recommend!
