Finally-a hiking boot that actually fits. I have super wide feet, high insteps, and one of my feet has edema. I’ve tried so many boots and these are the first that fit my feet comfortably.... ....highly recommend these boots!

These Columbia boots are even lighter than the best-rated selection above since they are made of waterproof canvas rather than leather. A half-size larger is recommended by most reviewers, particularly if you plan on doing a lot of trekking. According to user feedback, it’ll be good to be able to wear thicker socks during the colder months.

Lightweight and comfortable... Did NOT require breaking them in.... I'm very impressed at how comfortable they are. My feet did not feel sweaty (it was about 53 degrees out that day, windy). We passed through some muddy areas and even some small puddles no issues with my feet getting wet.

I bought these boots a half size bigger for some swelling wiggle room. They are too big lol however, with an additional insole and wool socks, they fit great! Lots of ankle support and the vibram soles are outstanding!

The boots are not stiff and are comfortable right out of the box. They are not tight or to loose. If you wear a thick hiking sock you may want to size up 1/2. They seem well made with nice padding.
