Because this camera runs on a rechargeable battery or solar power, you have a variety of options for camera location. Still, unlike the Arlo Pro 4 and Ring Stick Up Cam, the camera doesn’t have a replaceable battery, so you can’t switch in a replacement when required.

The camera works very well the motion detection is quite sensitive and will trigger often. You can mask areas that are not important like a tree that keeps on triggering the camera.

The Wyze Cam v3’s night vision is notable since it produces color video at night by combining a starlight sensor with two kinds of infrared LEDs. I have been using Wyze cameras for some time now and they are a terrific value. I really like the included cloud storage. The V3 camera is a huge improvement over previous versions. The night vision is amazing.

The Arlo Pro 4 is a fantastic battery-powered camera, particularly if you want a camera that is easy to set up, has many cameras, and produces amazing video quality. Its 2K video captures more information than 1080p outside cameras, and its infrared night vision and built-in illumination allow it to record clear footage at any time of day.

We purchased this camera after some folks tried getting into cars on our street. This little guy gives us great piece of mind and was incredibly easy to set up. The video quality is great and the app is super easy to use.

I was able to use the app to keep track of the house as well as our puppy who was experiencing her first time alone in the house for a few hours. Works fine. Nice, basic system.
