This Optimum router will not provide the same amount of power as the other entries on this list, but it is by far the most affordable option. Using this router with Optimum internet will offer you a maximum of 1750mbps, which is incredible considering how inexpensive this router is. It lacks the sophisticated smart parental controls seen in more costly routers, but it has enough capability to get by.

Excellent router! Improved my upload and download speeds. Fixed persistent problem with crappy Optimum-provided router, plus gave me control of my dns again. Better coverage, to boot!

No more internet connection problems. Compatible with Optimum internet service. Bought it to reduce $10 monthly rental fee and improve internet connection, which it did, thankfully.

The RT-AC68U has a 1 GHz dual-core CPU, so it should be able to keep up with the demands that you put on it. This router can also provide rates of up to 1900 Mbps. You may not be able to get such speeds with Optimum, but you should make the most of your internet speed plan. Since the router is dual-band, it will be able to handle your various devices at the proper band level.

Works great with optimum modem. I have a 2 story house i placed this router in the basement, no signal problems whatsoever.

When it comes to Optimum-approved routers, Gryphon is a lesser-known brand. Despite this, the AC3000 provides excellent value for money. The base router provides coverage of 3000 square feet. It’s also intriguing that this router can function as a mesh system to enhance your connection across your house. If you need more, you can buy another AC3000 and link it as a satellite.

Works great with optimum service pay for 1gb service and this thing handles it perfectly. East setup and easy instal! Just know you won’t get 1gb speeds if you don’t have fast enough WiFi chip in device.

It is also compatible with any internet service provider, including Optimum, and can reach speeds of up to 2.5Gbps. The Orbi includes a number of security and smart home features that make it simple to set up the device and connect the satellites.

Purchased to replace Optimum router. Was easy to install and setup. Works awesome. Now have WiFi available throughout my whole house when before it was only throughout 1/2 the house.
