If you’d describe your VR interest as “mild,” and you’ve had no prior experience with the format in any way, shape, or form. The BNext headset is a viable option. It’s basic, but it’ll suffice to pique your interest. It is compatible with the majority of smartphones and is lightweight and simple to set up. It’s also a good way to introduce the format to children without having to worry about them flailing around the room with expensive equipment on their faces.

This is a perfect beginner product. I bought it for my husband (Father’s Day). He loves it.

With the Pansonite headset, you can ease into VR. The Pansonite requires only a smartphone to connect and provides access to a variety of VR content. The big, cushy headphones provide enveloping audio, while the eyepiece and lenses are designed with your comfort in mind. Plus, the adjustable pupil and focus distance make finding the right visual balance simple.

This is a good one to start with for beginners. This is the first time I’m using a VR set and it’s pretty impressive. Not a gamer and never got a chance to use the remote. Control buttons like connectivity, volume could have been better.

The Oculus Quest 2 headset is completely wireless and includes a pair of Oculus Touch controllers for each hand. These will allow you to pick up tools, open drawers, drive cars, and generally immerse yourself in virtual worlds. It doesn’t even need to be connected to a gaming console or PC; a smartphone will suffice. This is a stand-alone VR experience that lets you explore in any environment.

Surprisingly really fun. I’ve seen it around for awhile and didn’t give it the attention it deserves. Worth it.

It boasts excellent image quality, with a per-eye resolution of 2,160×2,160 pixels, allowing you to enjoy everything from games to text. Not only that, but the lightweight, comfortable headset sports amazing drop-down speakers developed by Valve, and its 114-degree field of view is the greatest in this price range. After all, what’s not to like?

Best VR headset on the market. Resolution and refresh rate is very good.
