Because it can call and network with Amazon’s other Echo speakers, it’s more useful than third-party Alexa gadgets. On select Amazon Music songs, the screen allows you to see what music is playing, pause it, jump to the next song, and browse lyrics. It also offers a video version of Alexa’s daily flash-news briefing and can play Amazon Prime videos. Voice and video calls are enabled, with Zoom functionality added lately by Amazon.
