Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Have you known these?
Do I need a baby monitor?
Do not have to. If you sleep in the same room with your little one then you can keep an eye on him. It’s different if your baby has his own room. Instead of needing to stay close to the nursery or constantly checking on your child, it’s easier to check on your monitor or smartphone while cooking or binge watching American Horror Story.
What type of baby monitor is best for me?
It really depends on your needs. Generally, there are three types of baby monitors. The audio monitor lets you listen to the baby’s voices. This tool is helpful in knowing if the baby is crying. Video monitors are great for you if you want to see your little one’s movements and make sure his position is not dangerous. Finally, there are wearable monitors that track vitals like sleep and breathing.
How to choose a baby monitor?
First, determine what features you need the most, whether audio, video or more. After that, for the safety of the baby, choose a device with a low frequency. Next, you need to consider microphone sensitivity to make sure the baby’s voice is heard. There is also a two-way talk feature that functions to calm your baby or make him feel alone. The rest is up to you.
Where should I place my baby monitor?
Like other electronic items, baby monitors also produce radiation emissions. To protect your baby from this exposure, we recommend that the baby monitor be placed no closer than six feet from the baby. You can use the help of high shelf or wall mount.

Motorola
EASE34
User-friendly
If you are not tech-savvy but still want to monitor your little one remotely, then the Motorola EASE34 is the solution. With a user-friendly 4.3″ display monitor, you can not only chat with the baby but also adjust the room temperature to keep him comfortable. Don’t worry about the tricky reach, if you are not more than 1000 feet away, you will remain connected as if he is next to you.
The monitor has terrific resolution, and you can use the zoom feature within the camera to get a closer look. The layout is simple, clean, and easy to use!

HelloBaby
Baby Monitor
Quality at affordable prices
This device is a gift for parents who always expect a high-quality baby monitor but are on a budget. HelloBaby has excellent infrared night vision so you can check your darling clearly even in low light. Just in case he wakes up, you can turn on the built-in lullaby and he will fall asleep in a second.
Great value for money! I read a lot of reviews for various video monitors and nothing really seemed to perform better than others, even at premium end. But this monitor had quite a lot of detailed reviews and was for a reasonable price. Has all the functions that I need and I can’t fault it. Very happy! Thanks

Google
Nest Cam Indoor
High-resolution camera
Is this the same Google that we usually use for browsing? Yup, exactly. Google Nest Cam Indoor helps you keep an eye on your home from anywhere. With a high-resolution camera, everything in front of him can be displayed in crystal clear results. With super-easy installation, you can simply install it in every corner of the house or simply in the nursery. Just plug it in and set it up from your phone.
Love these cameras. This is our third. We use them as a baby monitor and we pay for the subscription service so we can watch back videos and save videos... like when the cameras caught my daughters first steps! I truly want these in every corner of my house. Also I love that it sends me notifications at night when it sees movement. This helps me know how restless my daughters sleep was. Also the notification will awaken me (when my phone lights up). If you didn’t want this then you could just turn your phone over.

iBaby
Smart WiFi Baby Monitor M7
Lulls your baby to sleep
This one looks adorable with its round design, reminiscent of Baymax from Big Hero 6. Not only monitoring your little ones, iBaby M7 Lite happily sings thousands of lullabies and reads bedtime stories. Additionally, it has a built-in Moonlight soother with a unique moon and star night light. This sound machine baby monitor will also give you alerts if any issues arise.
This product is a fantastic upgrade from the M6. Having the 1080p video makes it easy easier to see your child in bed/crib. The easy turn on of night light and music makes soothing your baby from your room so much easier. No more getting up to rock when you can turn on lullaby and lights. 100% would buy this monitor again and again.

Motorola
Video Baby Monitor
Super portable
This one is definitely designed for big houses with its impressive 1,000-foot range. Since this device is portable, you can easily move it from the nursery to the playroom, and literally, anywhere you want to keep an eye on it. Also, this monitor comes with five soothing lullabies to transport your baby off to Dreamland.
I got this as my infant granddaughter is at my house a lot. It has all the features I wanted (night vision, remote camera positioning, etc). It is very easy to use and set up. The monitor battery lasts all day long with the video going. I was testing it. hehe It lasted the full 9 hours and still had a bit of life left to it!

Infant Optics
DXR-8 Video Baby Monitor
The most popular
The hugely popular and award-winning Infant Optics DXR-8 Video Baby Monitor has lots of great features at a decent price. What makes this product stand out is the interchangeable lens that lets you choose the normal, wide-angle, or zoomed-in view. For parents who are concerned with privacy, take it easy, because this baby monitor is not integrated with WiFi, thus reducing the risk of being accessed by strangers.
So far we love our infant optics baby monitor we bought for our second daughter based on a recommendation from a friend who has this monitor for her son. The picture is crystal clear and there's no delay / lag like we've experienced with our older daughter's baby monitor which uses wifi. Was very easy to set up too. We also love that we can connect additional cameras as our family grows. Would definitely recommend this monitor to others!

Eufy Security
SpaceView
Great night vision
Eufy SpaceView excels with its wide range of up to 1000 feet and battery life that provides 15-hour monitoring. With just one small item, you can monitor your entire room by pan the lens 330° to see corner-to-corner and tilt 110° to see floor to ceiling. In addition, SpaceView has a great night vision, room temperature control, and an extra lens for a wide room or zoom.
This is easily the best baby monitor on the market. It has a HUGE screen with HD quality video. The night vision works great. We had the Infant Optics monitor before but the screen is virtually worthless at nighttime so we upgraded to this one. We recently added the second camera and it works very well. We’ve never had an issue with the sound quality or range either. I’d highly recommend this monitor over Infant Optics or anything else out there.

Nanit
Plus Smart Baby Monitor
Tracking sleep development
Nanit repeatedly occupies the top three in most reviews of the best baby monitors. Are you curious why? The Nanit Plus uses its advanced technology to study how your baby moves and then analyzes it to track her sleep development. Additionally, Nanit presents an application that provides personalized sleep guidance and tips from the world’s leading pediatric sleep experts.
Works great! Our previous 2.4Ghz baby monitor was interfering with my exterior surveillance cameras. Bought this to eliminate the issue since this one connects only to a wifi router. Has the best quality you can ask for, audio and video. Plus it records and gives you awesome playback from the night! I wish we would have bought this when she was a newborn!

The selling points are in the ability to track your baby’s oxygen level and heart rate with accuracy. You will be notified when your baby needs you. Your purchase comes with Smart Sock which is equipped with a room temperature sensor so you are sure the baby is comfortable.
Great product, totally eliminates first time mom anxiety. It is pricey, but we use it every night with our little one. We never had any false alerts, it holds the battery for a really long time. The camera works great, good quality image and sound. I’m glad we decided to buy it.
