The Scamp has an outstanding reputation, with lightweight in-mold construction, a dial-adjust mechanism, and optional MIPS technology, making it one of our best bike helmets for toddlers or newborns. MIPS helmets aren’t cheap, but the Scamp is one of the most affordable options. Most customers have enjoyed using this Scamp throughout the years since it is so much lighter, more comfortable, and less bulky than any other helmet.

The Schwinn Infant is the tiniest infant bicycle helmet on the market. The Giro Scamp accommodates skulls as little as 45 cm, whereas the Schwinn Infant is smaller, narrower, and fits heads as small as 44 cm. While the quality isn’t as good as the Scamp’s and the pads aren’t as soft, it’s a good small helmet for your infant for about $17. It also has a dial-adjust mechanism, which is excellent for the price.

The Joovy Noodle was created with the youngest children in mind. Its minimal weight allows a youngster to wear it while maintaining control over their neck and head motions. The Noodle is more stable on smaller skulls thanks to the chin straps looped through the rear dial-adjust, and the separated straps also make the helmet much simpler to put on. The chin buckle’s dual-color makes it simpler to notice and get on and off a moving child.

The helmet is light weight and has a strap to adjust the size. Both of the girls loved wearing these, in fact one did not want to take it off! I like that they have a front bill that protects the face in case of a fall.

A smaller version of the Giro Tremor is now available. The Giro Tremor Child is designed to accommodate the tiny skulls of baby shredders, with a head circumference range of 47 to 54 cm, and is narrower and less bulky than its big brother. The Tremor Child’s interior is somewhat deeper and broader than the Scamp’s, in addition to the apparent stylistic differences. The Tremor Kid might be a better alternative if your child has a taller or broader head.

Great helmet, love the bright green so I can spot my son speeding around on his bike. It offers great protection and he likes wearing it, a double win.

The Schwinn Toddler bike helmet is similar to the Schwinn Infant, but it is designed for older children. It comes in a variety of really entertaining patterns. While the quality isn’t as good as some of the others on our list, it’s still better than a Walmart helmet. A dial-adjust tightening device is included, which is uncommon at this pricing range. However, bear in mind that altering a helmet for a suitable fit at this price range might be difficult.

Bought for our toddler to ride a scooter. She loves it and doesn’t want to take it off so it must be comfortable. Super cute and provides the protection she needs. Recommend!

When a fun helmet for small boys features dinosaurs or sharks, like in our first example from Raskullz, it receives a tremendous boost. It’s a helmet they’ll want to put on all the time, and it’s also practical. It is constructed of non-toxic thermoplastic rubber. The helmet is made out of a smooth expanded polystyrene shell that has been molded and fashioned to look like a dinosaur’s head. With huge eyes, nostrils, and a mouth with teeth, it has a rough and scale-like look.

I needed a toddler helmet and somehow ended up on a child's helmet so unfortunately it was too large for my kiddo but it was made very nicely and easily adjustable wish it would've been small enough for him.

It has a quick-adjust hook-and-look stabilizing adjustment that ensures a proper fit. For sunny or wet conditions, it has a soft and flexible visor on the front. A layer of polyester rests on the inside of the helmet, keeping moisture at away.

This helmet is fully functional but also adorable! It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t weigh a ton for my daughter!

I love everything about this helmet. It's sturdy, practical and safe. A++ also it's got plenty of colors to pick from. I would definitely recommend.

Super cute helmet. Fit my almost one year old son perfectly after tightening. Assume it will fit him for 1-2 more years. The integrated visor was great and kept most of the sun out of his eyes. Made everyone we pass smile.
