The Nest Learning Thermostat is a fantastic addition to any smart home, and its multi-zone adaptability makes it ideal for anybody who needs more than one sensor. The algorithms in Nest can then predict when you’ll be home and adjust the temperature accordingly. This might save you money on your energy bills and remove the need for manual temperature control. The third-generation Nest can regulate a large number of rooms.

This is our 4th Nest thermostat. We had 3 in our house and this one was for our condo. Works great. Gives us ability to adjust temperature while we are away. And we needed something to cover up some ugly brush strokes by my thermostat. This worked out well. It's essentially just a piece of stainless steel in the shape of a circle with the appropriate holes cut out. It fit my 3rd gen nest thermostat perfectly. Adds a nice asthetic.

instructions took a few minutes to make sense to me but I taped up a piece paper on the wall with the old wires connections, then one of the new wire connections... was very easy. This model will let you wire up for a 4 OR 5 wire thermostat! the wireless feature for our phones is GREAT, we can change temps. without getting out of bed or leaving our desks
