If you want a tablet that can be used in lieu of a laptop, the Surface Pro, the Go’s big brother, is the way to go. Performance is on par with any other travel-sized Windows laptop, thanks to Windows 10 Pro and the latest generation processor, as well as configurable up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 12.3″ screen is a better size for working on the day, and the battery life is significantly greater at up to 10.5 hours.

I got this because my old laptop was running super slow and was heavier than I wanted. Due to my travels weight and performance are my two big motivators. This meets both expectations perfectly.
