This is a two-edged tactical fixed blade knife. The blade and handle are made from a single piece of 1050 carbon steel that was hot forged. The knife and sheath are intended to be used as a boot knife, but they can be handled in other ways by detaching the Velcro straps.

The overall length of the knife, when completely extended, is 10 14 inches, which gives the impression that you are holding a fixed blade. The one drawback is that this knife does not have a mechanism that allows it to fold back up rapidly.

"This knife is larger and heavier than what I normally carry. It’s taken a while to get used to the locking mechanism. You need to use both hands and close it carefully because it’s so so sharp. I love the fact that is so sharp and that it’s so sturdy."
