The shell is made of water-resistant nylon, and the interior lining is made of polyester. It includes a drapery construction on the back to keep the sun off your neck. Also, it features the highest sun protection level, UPF 50+, that accompanied by a nice brim trim.

If you only could have one hat, this would be the one. We've used them on safari, hiking, gardening - just everywhere. It's cool, easy to pack, and you don't even know you're wearing it. It's so comfortable.

Nice brim design with no distractions to prevent hitting the road. This Columbia Bora Bora Booney 11 Hat has a quick-wicking sweatband to keep moisture at bay. The best thing is that it includes an adjustable toggle on the back to fit any head size.

I wear this hat when I am on the water, and it's nice and light, you don't get sweaty. The brim is large enough for shade, but not so large you feel like it's a sombrero. Packable and durable. Fits well too, even though I have a larger head. Highly recommend.

This is a great hat. The brim is wide enough to shade my ears but not so wide that it takes off in the wind. I use it for golf, hiking, yard work, etc., so so far, it has been great!
