I had containers with snap on lids and if you moved or twisted them in putting them on shelf the lids would pop off these have the latches at both ends and work nice. The also have a little lip on front/back so if you (and I do) stack them that lip makes it easy to just take off the top one work with it and put it back.

Used these to mover items out of my parents' house. They hold a lot, but not so much that the become too heavy to carry. Big enough to be useful for storing things, but not so big that you have trouble moving them. I previously bought a set of 10 and loved them so much I bought them again here.
