This is one of the few adjustable “L” shaped standing workstations available. It’s very large and will only fit into a room’s corner. This is a very rare requirement for most teachers. The L shape is useful so you can stand and teach with your laptop or desktop facing you, while the L section can be used to store any go-to props or supplies.

I’ve been researching standing desks for several months now, trying to find one that is functional (and large enough!), attractive, and not terribly expensive. This is by far the best value of anything I’ve come across! It was easy to assemble, the motor works nice and smoothly, and it looks great in my home office! Very happy with this purchase!

Are you looking for something with more design features? If you’re going to be utilizing a laptop, the FlexiSpot desk converter is a great option. While it can accommodate both a laptop and a monitor, the second shelf is excellent for placing your laptop on, while the bottom shelf is good for props, extra equipment, such as a mouse, or a notepad. The FlexiSpot isn’t the smallest converter on the market, but it does live up to its name by letting you move freely. When not in use, keep it in a closet or place it on any table or desk in your house.

This works very well and feels high quality. It holds a laptop and two monitors, or a keyboard and two monitors. It easily and smoothly raises up and squashes down so that you can use from a standing or seated position. To be honest, the fact that this desk comes with a shelf was the aspect that we loved the most about it. A laptop on the shelf, when fully extended, will be ideally positioned on your face, which is exactly what you want and needs as an online instructor.

This is a large standing desk converter that is 36 inches in length. Unlike other converters, this one enables you to have a wide surface area increased, and it goes from 8 to 16 inches tall. It is sturdy and firmly constructed and does not need assembly. With a premium pump-assisted lift, it goes up and down in a couple of seconds.

This is exactly what I was looking for to allow me to stand while teaching online. It fits perfectly on my large desk and it moves up and down easily and smoothly.
