If you don't require a lot of electricity, there's nothing wrong with purchasing the Feelle solar charger. The size is similar to a regular power bank, but it can produce up to 4.5W in direct sunshine. In addition, you can charge your smartphone 6-8 times, your tablet at least 2 times, and other USB devices multiple times so you don't have to worry when your gadget's battery runs low.

I keep it in my car's emergency kit. The expandable solar panel array is nice as it catches more sunlight and charges up faster. If you're creative, you can rig this thing up to affix to your backpack and unfold the panels to charge while you're hiking or whatever, too. I'm happy with it.
