As protection so that the skirt is not snatched by the wind, there is a concealed side zip closure. Pretty like a princess.

I bought this skirt in black and pink. This pink one is noticeably tighter than the black one despite them claiming to be the same size. It's a gorgeous skirt, so I'm keeping it.
