The Hestra Vertical Cut Czone Gloves protect your hands from the elements by blocking out hard snow, debris, branches, and rocks. Obstacles are deflected with shock-absorbing foam, and the windproof, waterproof design protects against the weather. You may find yourself wearing them all the time.

... Most people I know use these for more typical ski days on the West Coast. I'm typically a large in most gloves (or a medium that fits big) and the Hestra 9 is a perfect fit for me. As with all Hestras, use of the Hestra Glove Balm helps these stay waterproof and extends the life of the leather. Very durable materials, great neoprene wrist that slips underneath the jacket cuffs, and like all Hestras, they're dexterous AF.

Great gloves. Comfy and nice to look at. Good for 0 to -8 then not warm enough. If you don’t have sausage fingers you could possibly fit liners in to warm them up

The Hestra Sport Leather Fall Line Gloves are wonderful short-length freeride gloves that are well constructed and designed. The gloves are constructed of soft, supple aniline cowhide leather, which is the best grade leather available. They are not only visually pleasing, but they also contain a number of useful qualities. The Bemberg polyester lining aids in maintaining a secure grip on the skis. For extra warmth, they also contain foam insulation and a neoprene cuff to keep out deep powder.

I use them for everyday activities but purchased them specifically for backcountry use and they have held up to everything i’ve put them through. I bought them online and used the sizing recommendations and bought a half size larger and it fit perfectly. Overall great quality feel and comfort. Very satisfied!

For dedicated skiers, a women’s version of Hestra’s classic Army Leather Heli Ski Gloves is a wise purchase. When adjusting your boots or skis, the palm is constructed of supple goat leather for excellent grip. The HESTRA Triton 3-layer polyamide fabric on the upper body is completely waterproof and breathable. The gloves include a detachable polyester lining for simple washing and drying, so they can be used year after year.

I own a couple pairs of these gloves and mitts. I had purchased the gortex lined version but the liners are not removable making it difficult to dry and now the liners are packed out making it impossible to replace without replacing the whole glove. These gloves are a replacement for those as the liners are removable. The shells last for ever.

If you’re looking for a great beginner ski glove, Auclair’s Frost Gloves are a great choice. The nylon and leather covering is buffeted by a waterproof, breathable membrane, which is described as an alpine softshell glove. There’s synthetic insulation, but you still can use a brushed, soft, warm lining that feels just perfect.

These fit very well, are warm, and kept the snow out during a deep-snow adventure this past weekend. Highly recommended!
