I got a size small for my 6 year old and a medium for my 8 year old. They have room to grow into them more and they are incredibly warm! We'll play outside for a couple of hours in the snow in Iowa and they'll come in with hot hands. They dry well and don't get all bunched up in the washer. I would highly recommend these if you're in a colder climate.

The gloves are lined with fleece and insulated with Thinsulate, making them very warm yet not too heavy. Your child’s fingers will remain dry thanks to a waterproof external coating and an incorporated waterproof membrane. Adjustability and a snug, secure fit are provided by a hook-and-loop fastening around the wrist. A long 2.5-inch knitted cuff that can be tucked under your child’s coat sleeve helps keep out everything from cold to wind to snow. This selection also includes sticky palms, thumbs, and fingers so your youngster can have a firm grasp on any ski equipment, sleds, or other winter necessities.

So the only thing that sucks about these gloves is the price. I personally think they're way too expensive for such little hands. BUT they're true to size and my husband says it's a great brand. And my son loves them. They dont make the snow gloves for little hands and hes always stuck with the fabric ones that get soaked in snow and he becomes cold. So I give these the 5 stars because they're great and he loves them.

The gloves include grippy palms that make it simpler to carry equipment, a luminous logo that improves visibility, and they actually clip together for storage and transportation.

These are well-constructed little gloves that were surprisingly easy for our three year old grandson to get his fingers into. They cover his wrists well. He doesn't keep them on long but that's pretty much the case with all mittens and gloves we've tried. He says they feel good.

These are a genuinely great set of gloves, even though they’re under $40: waterproof, breathable, incredibly comfortable, and darned warm. You will like how REI included two cinches on these gloves: one at the wrist and one at the cuff’s end. This results in a highly tailored fit that effectively prevents snow from collecting between the glove and the hand.

These are nice, thick gloves for snow. I will say that I MUCH prefer a mitten for kids and adults for snow skiing. They keep you hands a lot warmer. So while I have no complaints on this glove if you are looking at it for skiing/snowboarding, I would suggest REI's mitten version.

It’s no secret that we like L.L.Bean products. We can’t help but stan them since they offer such great customer service to go along with their fantastic items. These gloves are waterproof and include Thinsulate insulation, so they keep your hands warm without making them sweaty. The gentle edges of the cuff protect delicate skin from chafing, while the cuff keeps the cold away.

These are truly waterproof, and they hold up to be handed down to a younger sibling. My son says he can wear them to safely climb on the playground all winter

Gloves with too loose and wide fingertips slide while you’re attempting to obtain a strong grasp on the pole, therefore this feature is crucial. They also have a nice cinch and a soft lining, and the fill never becomes wet, despite the fact that the gloves seem wet.

So warm. Hands stay dry. Can wear just for warmth outdoors or for playing in snow.
