The 9 x 12″ spiral-bound U-Create SketchBook provides plenty of room for huge compositions, landscapes, and live sketching. It contains 75 sheets of acid-free, lignin-free white paper, each weighing 75 pounds. Perforated pages make it simple to remove sheets without breaking the spiral binding, and the spiral binding lies flat for easy sketching. It’s a terrific notebook for inks and pencils, and despite its size, it’s quite portable. It’s a simple, inexpensive notebook with excellent colored pencil paper.

I use it mainly to connect with images that I love. Think of it as a non-digital Pinterest / Inspo board. Magazine pages fit wonderfully! The thickness of the paper supports everything I need it to.

The spine lies flat while you use it, allowing you to sketch two-page designs, but it also sits upright on a bookshelf.

This journal is sturdy and well made. I particularly like the tooth of the paper - it takes fountain pen ink as well as sketching pens really well. Pleasant to use.

The paper has a surface that is readily erasable and smear-resistant, making it ideal for pencils.

This is an great sketchbook for the price. Hard-cover book, with good amount of paper and quality. It will serve its artistic purpose, perfectly! Sturdy and light weight as well.

The Strathmore 400 Series Colored Pencil Pad is one of the few sketchbooks designed particularly for colored pencil usage. However, this notebook works well with graphite, charcoal, and drawing sticks. The paper is white with a toothy surface (vellum finish), which gives your colored pencil work a pleasant touch. The reverse side of the paper has less bite, allowing artists to try out various sketching approaches.

The thickness and texture is perfect. I use it for graphite drawings, colored pencil drawings, and mixtures of each. Performs very well, and holds up nicely to erasing.

This is a nice sketch pad and it was at a good price it shipped fast and was in excellent condition when it arrived.

You’ll need a notebook with colored pencils, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, to test your ideas and perfect your methods. Similarly, if you have a youngster who rapidly depletes your supply of paper, this product is a good choice since it comes with two sketchbooks. Adults do not need to pay a lot of money to provide their children with high-quality papers, based on the product’s low pricing. In general, the paper’s characteristics are compatible with pencils.

The paper was better quality then I expected for the price. I am quite pleased

This notebook has high-quality paper for colored pencils and allows you to express yourself from cover to cover. The best part is that there isn’t a single surface that will remain unused. There are 147 gsm toothy pages in the sketchbook that are ideal for layering down colors. If you shade lightly with colored pencils, the grain will show up clearly, but it will fade as you apply more pressure or layers.

exceptionally wonderful paper. smooth,nice thick pages. I love to draw on it with my .3 mechanical pencil ,easy to shade and great with colored pencils and ink as well.

Colored pencils and toned papers make an excellent pairing, particularly for blending techniques. Warm gray boosts highlights and shadows to create amazing gradients by bringing bright and dark colors together. The heavyweight paper, best of all, maybe used with various media to improve your tonal values. Along with the light texture, the sheet picks up the pencil’s color while allowing some of the grain to show through. Even more amazing, the graphite does not readily smear when your hand comes into contact with it.

Great paper for pencils, charcoal, pastels anything like that. Nice size, 50 sheets. Would recommend and buy again.
