However, even a novice won’t be intimidated by the machine’s complexity. It’s an excellent mid-size model and only 13 pounds, so it can either be left in place or readily relocated if necessary.

price and quality. great sewing machine. with lots of seams. works great with no complaints. made from quality materials. nothing falls off, nothing breaks, nothing gets stuck. as long as it pleases. I didn't expect such good quality for such a low price.

The Janome MOD-19 can handle a wide range of materials, the dials are simple to read and use, and it has enough specialized functions (including adjustable needle position, stretch stitches for knits, and a four-step buttonhole) that you’ll probably be pleased sewing on it for a long time. Although Janome’s flowery decorations make it seem old, the machine’s mechanics are outstanding, which is what truly matters. You could spend a lot more money on a “beginning” machine with additional features, but we don’t believe you need to.

The Singer 4423 Heavy Duty is unquestionably one of the finest machines for stitching fabric. One of the most widely used sewing machines on the market today. There are up to 1,100 stitches per minute on this machine. Denim and other heavier textiles are no problem for it. When sewing denim, you’ll need a machine that can manage the weight of the threads. With a metal frame and enough weight to prevent it from bouncing around as you stitch at high rates, the Singer 4423 is an excellent machine for sewing. No damage will come from the 60 percent more powerful engine, however. It also includes a presser foot with a high lift. If your cloth is thick enough, you won’t have any issues sewing many layers together with this machine. You will feel the pressure on your feet much as you would with a needle threader.

There’s are no issues what so ever with this machine. It’s good for beginners or designers. Yeah got this one to see leather and other fabrics and it works just fine

It’s good for both types of fabrics.

I sew fairly often and love this new sewing machine. Easy to use. Am using it for some complicated sewing like zippers and buttons and cushions and coverlets.
