It appears to be sturdy, but it will not overwhelm you when you wear it. This sandal provides incredible comfort and fits wherever you go thanks to the polyester webbing uppers and hydrophobic foam. Besides that, the elastic cord lace and secure with reflective pull loops make it easy to put on and take off.

I have extremely wide feet (typically wear a men's size 11EE or 10.5EEEE), and finding sandals that even sort of look like they could be women's sandals is almost impossible. Sandals used to be the bane of my existence. I am a tall woman with size 12 (WIDE) flat feet. I needed some sandals for this summer, as my only pair had worn down to nothing. I saw a good review here from a fellow big footed woman, ordered two pairs (black and sand), and hoped for the best.
These are awesome. The elastic straps are just right, and walking in them feels like walking on nothing at all.

... These were a perfect fit for my problem feet. They did take a few days wearing around the house to soften the toe post up a bit. If you have wider feet or a higher arch for women, these might be the ones for you too. Finally, a pair of flip flops that fit!
