Bought these as a gift for my dad who is getting into saltwater fishing and he loves them. They are comfortable, have an integrated belt (which is extremely important for surf fishing safety) and are good quality. They do have a strong plastic smell out of the box but after a few hours hanging in the garage, one time being used at the shore, and a quick rinse with the hose to remove the salt, the smell is gone. Great waders for the price.

This one feels higher quality and I fished 4 hours with it on the surf without any leaks. I didn’t catch any striped bass, but managed to get a few perch. I would recommend hosing it down if you are surf fishing since salt water are hard on the material.

My one complaint would be that I wish they came in half sizes,the boot is little big, overall they get the job done-, and are really good deal.

... They are very comfortable and kept me dry for 4+ hours while surf-casting in the Atlantic Ocean. The seas were rough so the fact that the waders went more than halfway up my chest was perfect to keep the waves out. Much better quality than expected and have zero leaks after over 20 fishing trips to the beach. I use them mostly on sand and not rocks so don't have to worry about rips. To prevent dry rot and wear I always rinse down with freshwater to get the salt off. I expect these to last a couple more seasons.

Well they sat for about 5-6 months before I actually even put them to use. Since I did though I have used them daily over the past 3 weeks and to this point have held up to the daily salt water surf fishing. Manufacturer will warranty for up to a year. Hopefully that won't be necessary

We’re almost at the end of the discussion and now we’re sitting with the Compass 360 Tailwater Chest Wader. Made from 4-ply nylon, the 360 Deadfall waders are breathable but still very strong. This is a stockingfoot wader where your feet will get the utmost comfort with the soft and stretchable material, thanks to the 3mm neoprene booties! Oh yeah, the big pocket has a large room to keep tools, fly boxes, and lures within reach.

Used for a hard weekend of fishing almost nonstop on a stream fishing a salmon run. Lightweight but thick and durable feeling. Stretch just the right amount to bend and move without issue even when cold with extra layers on. I would recommend. No gauge on long term durability yet though as they were only used the one weekend so far.

I’m actually gonna buy a second pair just to rotate them in and out. Very happy customer....
