The head rest is high enough for me to rest my head (I’m 5’4) but not high enough for my husband to (he’s 6’). It’s very sturdy yet comfortable. Looking forward to rocking my baby in this chair! It’s more on the firm side than the soft squishy side but maybe it just needs to be broken into.

I'm so glad I took a plunge and bought it without any reviews posted. It's very nice chair - easy and fast to assemble (and I hate assembling furniture!), sturdy, comfortable and fun!
The only thing you can be disappointed about is that brown plastic covers do not stay over the heads of the screws. They are too lose. But that didn't matter to me over all quality of the chair.
