We have an above ground pool for our 4 kids and their friends to play in. The kids track sand and gravel in it. I am tired of hooking and disconnecting the vacuum for a pool I never use. So I decided to bite the bullet and try this. Assembly was very minimal. It got about 90% of the sand off the bottom. It even picked up some hair it lasted about 50 mins or so and stopped at the edge of pool when battery was depleted. Cleaning was very easy just rinse it with the water hose. Highly recommend if you like to keep pool maintenance to a minimal.

I have had two other popular robotic cleaners, however, this one is clearly superior. The debris container is super easy to empty and clean vs. a bag. The cleaning algorithm is superior as it covers the whole pool reliably, and does it faster than the others. It climbs the walls easily, and does not get stuck. I really like the remote control option too - not super easy to use, but far better than trying to drag it to the debris spot.

Pentair is well known for their Kreepy Krauly suction pool cleaners, but they also produce robotic pool cleaners. The Prowler 920 is capable of cleaning pools up to 50 feet in length. It moves on rails that offer enough grip for the cleaner to drive over drains and climb walls with ease. It also comes with two brushes for cleaning the pool’s wall and floor of debris and algae. One of them is an active brush, which spins rapidly to clean more thoroughly.

I purchased this and have been using all summer, and it is doing a great job. I have an 18' x 75' long lap pool. It won't get the pool in one session but by running it twice a day it does a great job. ...

This machine can clean! Was very nervous buying the cheaper version...I should not have been. This thing works brilliantly, couldn’t be any easier to get going and has functioned flawlessly. Excellent pool vacuum. Works perfectly right out of the box. Climbs walls and scrubbing ? power is amazing. Picks up leaves and sand very well. Nothing falls out when I remove it from the pool. Kinda heavy though. Money well spent!!!! Highly recommend this Hayward product!! 5 stars.
