My dad has to help handicap people get on the bus so naturally he always gets rained on. So I bought him this rain coat for Christmas. It stormed a lot yesterday but he was totally dry thanks to this! He said it is light yet warm, he can wear it at night thanks to the highlighted stripe, and he's glad the raincoat has a pulley on it so he can tighten the hood to keep it from blowing off of his head. Now he can do his job and stay dry.

So for the suit is very wind-resistant and very waterproof. My work is very physical working in the wind and rain. Even though I do get warm in the suit I don't get drenching wet from sweat inside of it.

I bought this as a cheap rain suit to throw on the boat. We went to a boating rendezvous on Lake Erie and docked at Port Clinton and a storm came up. I dug the suit out and put it on. The storm grew to near hurricane proportions. Waves came across route 2 - a 4 lane highway - and closed it. I was out trying to keep the boats from busting loose in the storm. Water was about 1 1/2 feet over the docks. Our dock lines kept pulling the cleats out of the docks and planks off the docks the wind was so bad. Finally a dock on the next row broke loose with about 20 boats, all larger than 40 feet, attached and proceeded up the river. I was out all night until dawn trying to keep the boats on our dock safe. 70 plus mph winds and huge storm surge and heavy rain all night. The next morning when the storm let up, the only part of me that was wet was below the knee where I had been standing in the water. Absolutely amazing suit which I had thought was cheap paper when I bought it. I would go anywhere with this thing.

This is a great rain coat. I ought a XL for my my husband because I was afraid it would run small but it really doesn't. It is really thick and heavy, I really though for the price it would be kind of thin and light It is of excellent quality and I am really glad I picked this one. The coat has not only a zipper but buttons and it has a hood that you can adjust with a string tie, I really thought it would be just a thin throw on but I fund to my pleasure that it is a real coat!! I'm really impressed with the quality!!
