On top of that, it makes an excellent portable power station if you need to run bigger AC equipment such as a mini-fridge or a portable heater when you’re off-grid camping. It is equipped with an X-Boost mode, which activates a 600-watt inverter that is incorporated within the device. In theory, the inverter should enable you to connect items into the River Pro that need up to 1800 watts of power without experiencing overload concerns.

When fully charged, it can provide up to 1,000 watts and 2,400 watt-hours of power. An additional USB-C port and four USB-A ports are included in the power station’s two 110v outlets. If you compare that to being able to power a 100-watt LCD TV for 24 hours, it may not seem like much. When connected to an AC outlet, the recharge period might take up to 12 hours. It is possible that solar charging may take longer. You may use the generator while you are charging to speed up the process. You don’t need anything more than the panels since the generator includes all the necessary cables and adaptors.

The Anker is light enough for most people to carry one-handed. Nowhere quite as slim as the Jackery versions, and with a less comfortable grip, but still rather attractive. It has a scuff- and scratch-resistant durable plastic casing and two thin rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep dirt and moisture out. Plus, it’s the only one of our recommendations with a protective cover over the AC and vehicle power ports. It shows input/output power, % charged, and the expected number of charging hours left, much like the displays on our other recommendations. These flaps assist to keep out moisture, dust, and other material that might harm the internal components. In addition to two USB-C connectors, it offers four fast-charging USB-A ports.
