Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Did you know it?

What is a power bank and how does it work?

The power bank is a portable charger that allows you to recharge your electronic devices while on the go. It takes charge from a charger, stores it in a battery, and then charges other devices. It is available in a variety of sizes, ranging from slim, pocket-sized devices to larger, lower-, higher-capacity.

Is a power bank worth it?

If you're regularly on the go and can't live without your phone, a power bank is a lifesaver. Simply charge the power bank fully before carrying it wherever you want. When your phone needs to be recharged, simply plug it into the power bank, then continue your activity with peace in mind. That's pretty worth it in anyway, as long as you get the right one.

Can I charge my power bank overnight?

Well, it's a simple answer; yes, you can. With technological advancements, power banks are safe to charge overnight even plugged into a wall or a USB port. Moreover, with the addition of built-in safeguards, you won't have to worry about overcharging or undercharging the power bank.

Should I charge my power bank before first use?

The nice way is to fully charge the power bank before using it for the first time, even if it comes with some charge. It's simple as almost all power banks come with a charging cable that can be plugged into a wall socket or other power sources, such as a laptop's USB port.

This little battery is pretty handy. I needed a small battery to provide power to a few devices which worked very well. Occasionally I use it to charge my phone, which also does a great job. Keep in mind that it doesn't have a lot of juice, but it's just enough to get you where you need to go. I'm impressed on how slim this battery is!

Promising Review:

I’ve had this unit for roughly a month. When I first received it I fully charged it and since then I’ve charged my half full IPhone 8 four times. Each time it fully charged the IPhone. The charger is compact and the connecting wires are durable. The LED lights on it give an accurate reading of the remaining charge. What’s nice about it, too, is that you don’t have to have a separate cord to connect to your device. I have no complaints.

Promising Review:

This has gotten me out of several jams where I had failed to charge my phone. Yes, there is a multitude of other battery backups. However, Anker was far ahead of its time. The competition had to innovate and incorporate new features like high capacity, fullness of charge indicators, and flashlights in order to compete. If you are looking for a simple battery with over-charge protection and enough capacity to recharge your phone this is it. The included travel pouch does fine to keep the battery with the USB.
