The neck is very sturdy! Stays in place for my situation. I have it bent upside down. The pop filter is made out of metal so it redirects air extremely well! When I hold my hand behind the filter and blow air with my mouth on the opposite side. I feel about 5% air pass through verses removing the filter and blowing air straight at my hand. Does a great job at stopping air. And thats an extreme situation if you were blowing air that hard at your microphone.

The Pop filter works with practically any microphone with a screw-on clamp, including Blue’s Yeti and Snowball mics. Despite the fact that the Yeti and Snowball need some tuning, Blue has prepared clear video instructions that show how to apply the pop filter to each microphone type in the most effective method.

I bought the pop filter alongside the Blue Yeti, and I was not disappointed. I tested the mic with and with the pop filter and it definitely came in handy for improving audio quality and eliminating harsh sounds from the audio tracks. The filter is easy to install with whatever base you may have, assuming they are compatible of course. A pop filter is necessary for anyone attempting to free up their audio from harsh crackling sounds, and you really can’t get any better than Blue products.

The larger screen and curved design, on the other hand, allow you to move about the mic a bit more freely without fear of plosives.

I got this for my husband for his birthday. He does a podcast on audio recording and making music. After making a couple of episodes, he decided that a pop filter would be a good addition to his collection of recording equipment. This is a very inexpensive and apparently well-made device. It has a good, secure mount which will not damage the mic stand and does not loosen accidentally. The filter itself seems to do the job in preventing plosives on vocals; some say that a nylon filter may affect the vocal timbre but I didn't notice that at all.

The 6 inch screen diameter and 13 inch gooseneck are well-made, long-lasting pop filters that are among the best on the market. In any event, if plosives are a worry for you and you want one of the greatest products money can buy, the Stedman is the way to go.

I've never been compelled to go *out of my way* to review a product on Amazon. This is different. I spent hours editing out plosives, pop, and clicks from my prior fabric pop filter. One night, I got so frustrated while editing I bought this product in a passionate rage in the heat of the moment. Now - listening to the difference - it's amazing. I'm likely to spend at least an hour less time editing tonight due to this filter rocking the air control around the mic.

The first screen performs the same function as a pop filter in that it stops air blasts from entering the vehicle. Well what can I say, I rap so I use this mainly for rap vocals. This pop filter has a very durable goose neck (the part that you can move around) it feels like bendable metal you won't have to worry about the pop filter falling I've been letting mine stay on the mic stand for days now and its still in the same position. I put my hand behind this pop filter and no wind gets through blowing normally.
