I tend to not tighten the sides all the way so that it stays in place but I can also grab my phone easily if I need it. I also like that it can hold the phone horizontally if I want to watch a video. It feels very sturdy and is super-easy to use... switching from vertical to horizontal is quick and doesn't make me feel like I'm going to break anything. I definitely recommend it.

I also like that it can fold down so it doesn't take up much space when I'm not using it. Great buy, would recommend!
