The Wixgear’s flexible base sticky vehicle mount and magnet phone holder functioned comparably. Among the annoyances were two adhesive mounting bases, two magnetic phone holders, four steel mounting plates, and cleaning kits The base mounting is standard, but the ball joint arm is directional. Due to incorrect vertical gluing, users had difficulty with viewing angles. Test-fit the vehicle mount and phone holder before adhering to them. On the rear of the magnetic phone holders, there is a threaded ring collar for adjustment. The steel plates were affixed to the rear of our heavyweight phones and the inside of the casing of our middleweights. The magnet and steel plate combination held firm across potholed roadways. The base has a built-in cable clip.

I have given these as gifts many times And have them in my car! They really hold the phone well and it’s very convenient to have a hands-free driving experience. It’s super easy to clip right in the air conditioner vent. [...]

Each mount comes with adhesive pads, steel mounting plates, and protective film. Simple installation instructions. The modest base footprint and compact form need additional care during installation. They had an adhesion failure that may be related to aging. Problem fixed with a second sticky foam pad. The black anodized machined aluminum alloy mount and magnet housing had a 360-degree unidirectional adjustment. The Coolpow mounts were made of quality alloy, and the steel ball joint provided just enough resistance to adjust while driving. Strong magnets beneath a soft silicone surface held the heaviest and biggest phones without sliding across difficult terrain. The Coolpow’s low profile and all-metal construction make it a good option, but it requires a smooth, flat mounting surface.

I was worried I couldn't not find a better place in my Chevy Equinox for this magnetic car mount. Luckily it just fits perfectly. I love how small the base is and the adhesive is really sticking to the car. My phone stays in place perfectly. Great purchase! Highly recommend this!

The 360-degree variant includes a pinch-to-close ratchet-type phone holder, while the smaller model has a spread-to-open spring-loaded tension clamp holding. On the jaws of both automobiles, mount clips are gripping silicone pads. The spring-clip automobile mounts are strong enough to hold, but the offset design works best when the top of the clip has a broad, slightly curved surface to grip. The ratcheting phone holder has the same metal branding on a slick gloss black finish. The mechanism secures the phone, however, the arm pads were slick. These readily detachable clip-style automobile mounts are a fantastic alternative if your dash has enough area for the top arm and enough overhang for the bottom arm.

Tight clamp works well in many car locations. Ended up buying a second one for my husband's car.
