This is a 3′′ piece. Wooster is a heavy-duty brush that can cover a lot of ground. It’s ideal for painting huge things since it swiftly and cleanly covers a wide area. When applying a paint wash or feathering paint, it’s much better! It has superb control and is easy to use. It’s a sturdy brush with soft bristles that have kept their form and bristles despite years of usage and cleaning.

When painting just the walls not the ceiling this smaller angle edge brush works great for cut-ins, and the softer bristles allows you to work with confidence once you get into rhythm.

Purdy Brushes are excellent no matter what size you purchase. These are very adaptable and may be used with any paint or stain on both inside and outdoor applications. Brushes in the 1′′ and 1.5′′ sizes are ideal for tiny areas, corners, and painting spindle feet. The brush is soft, so there are no brush marks, and it has retained its form and bristles for years. This Purdy brush is suitable with water-based stains, milk paint, chalk paint, mineral paint, latex, enamel, and metallics.

Sorry for the stupid pun. There are a lot of more expensive brushes out there, but I've found the Purdy brand to offer good quality at a good price. I also like the way you can snap the used, cleaned brushes back in it's package. Also the handles feel good in my hand.

The brushes are really very good for this price. The multiple sizes and soft bristles make the job really easy. I painted my kitchen cabinets with them. I used one for primer one for pain and one for polyurethane. All on them did a great job. Very good alternative to expensive brands brushes.
